This 1940 black-and-white horror film follows Dr. Paul Carruthers, a disgruntled chemist who sought revenge on his employer who paid him an unfair bonus after his work resulted in millions in profit for the company. He decides to develop a system where bats are mutated to become gigantic and very attracted to a new aftershave scent that he has given to all of his enemies as a test product.
